About Adrian Bambrough
I am a Singer / Songwriter based in Lanzarote, Spain.
I enjoy performing to wide and varied audiences in both in hotels and bars. I have performed for the Exeter Council at their Summer and October fiestas and the Island-wide Festival of the Sea, with over a thousand people attending the events. Through this I was invited to join in with the Arts Council of Exeter for their first ever street festival, an experience I enjoyed greatly and I'm looking forward to being invited back this year.
I sing a range of covers from the 60's to present day, as well as my own material. I enjoy performing to, and meeting, new people who have a love for music. My performances are tailored to different audiences to ensure everybody enjoys the gig.
As well as my solo act, I work with a band called Driven who also adapt their set list to the needs of the venue. Driven can entertain as a duo or up to a full 7 piece band that includes drums, bass, lead acoustic guitar, trumpet, alto, tenor and baritone sax. My role within the band is to lead on the vocals and play acoustic guitar.
I run a weekly popular Jam session in a large venue that holds over 100 people. I invite both locals and holiday makers and encourage them to take part. They have the use of drums, various types of guitars and keyboard. Some people bring their own instruments, and others prefer to just sing.
I enjoy the opportunity to give people the encouragement to get up and play before an audience, whether it’s the first time or not.
On my last visit to California I performed a small tour playing in various venues such as The LA Yacht Club, Pappy & Harriet’s (video) and The Road House.
