Another big thank you to those out there helping to keep the country running and safe.
Woke up this morning to no water if not having any money was bad, having no water was even worse. No shower no flushing the toilet. We are both definitely doing social distancing in our house today.
It was such a relief to get last nights gig out of the way. I had been putting off doing a couple of the songs, as I was unfamiliar with the style. The Jason Mraz song was so difficult to get my head around the words I could just not get my tounge around them. The guitar part was the easy bit and it's one so nice. Making mistakes in that right at the beginning threw me off for the rest of the night. I always do a run through before I start and all went well, but as soon as we went live I went to pieces. It's so good all these new songs I'm learning so please don't stop sending them in. I know there are lots that will now be in my act as soon as they are polished up a bit.
I started to look at another of the Bambrough-Jones collaborations this morning. Also the requests that came in last night. Now it's time for a bit of a chill out before we have another go at it again later.
